From Library Success: A Best Practices Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi! I created this wiki. I am the Head of Instructional Initiatives at Norwich University in Vermont.

I am the author of the blog Information Wants To Be Free and write the monthly "Technology in Practice" column for American Libraries. In March 2006, I was named a Mover and Shaker by Library Journal pretty much for just playing with technology. ;)

Last year I wrote a book called Social Software in Libraries: Building Collaboration, Communication and Community Online.

I am interested in services to distance learners, social software, virtual reference services, information literacy, web design, the usability of library middleware, open source software, and online instruction.

Thanks for visiting and for being a part of this wiki! You can contact me on the discussion tab of this page.
