Behind the mysterious username (I was never good at cute pseudonyms or screen names), I'm Walt Crawford.
I've been active in the library field for a very long time, including a stint as president of LITA, the Library and Information Technology Association.
After a lot of years at RLG (ending at OCLC's RLG Service Center), I'm now Editorial Director for the Library Leadership Network, a free network for all those who are or eventually expect to be library leaders, however you define leadership.
I write and publish Cites & Insights, an ejournal on the intersections of libraries, policy, media and technology, and also have a blog, Walt at Random.
My personal website has way too much additional information.
