Ahniwa just finished his MLIS degree in May of 2008 at McGill University in Montreal. He began work promptly in Library Development at the Washington State Library, where he coordinates various projects involving "online resources", e.g. statewide virtual reference and statewide database licensing.

He likes to think of himself as an action librarian, a la Eddie Izzard.

He blogs very rarely over at his website, ahniwa de montréal.

He performs "other duties as assigned."
