Introduction
This page is about managing the information that comes out of the World Social Forum. The WSF is, of course, a worldwide process. Therefore, we must have a focus. Our focus on this page will be the seventh WSF Event, which takes place in Nairobi, Kenya, 20-25 January 2007.
We have prepared for this event for years already. Traces of our preparations are found on the website of the Network Institute for Global Democratization, NIGD. As a part of the preparations, the Journal Information for Social Change will publish a special issue on Libraries and Information in a World Social Forum Context at the beginning of January.
Meat on the bones
Esther Obachi, the secretary of Kenya Library Association, has presented a structure which we will follow on this page. For the time being, a web-version of her powerpoint-slides can be browsed here.
Now, let's produce meat for Esther's bones! Mikaelbook 04:43, 4 December 2006 (EST)
