I am currently the Director of Research & Information Services at the Library of Virginia in Richmond - the state library and archives. I previously worked at the University of Louisville, first in special collections, later as associate dean for collections, preservation & digital intitiatives. I began my library career and spent 24 years at Cornell University, where I worked in reference/government documents, instruction, collection development, and special collections.
